Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies
who seek him with their whole heart,
who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!
You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.
Psalms 119:1 – 4 (ESV)
I’ve been meditating this for a few weeks already, actually the first 8 verses, but i decided to write it down here; Part I
Blessed are they who are blameless (upright, truly sincere)
who walk in the law of the Lord (in their conduct, conversation; in words and action; your life)
it’s not on the surface or from far looking at the law of the Lord, it says in the law of the Lord, dwelling in the word of God. that’s how i looked at it.
Blessed are they who keep his statues (laws) and seek Him with all their heart. (to seek, to inquire for Him and of Him and craves for Him with my whole heart)
They do nothing wrong, they walk in his ways (no wilful wandering from the precepts that are to be fully obeyed)
You have commanded your precepts, to be kept diligently. (Diligent means having or showing care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties)
now, it concludes my stuck point of being diligent.
I struggle with this point of being diligent.
Wells, hope you ppl have a new insight to this.
It’s my first time, trying to explain scriptures (:
It’s Jesus, who I’ll always go back to (:
